DeFi and markets
Market-wide and chain-wide figures for market pages. They are refreshed in the background and are the same for every visitor, so a call never waits for the source. Before the first refresh after a restart a route answers 503 upstream_unavailable. The last item of every daily series is the current UTC day, still in progress. Each answer ends with coverage, the limits that apply.
Top coins
The largest coins by market cap. The route is not chain-scoped. limit is 1 to 100, default 50.

tokens | The coin's contracts on Ethereum, Monad or Arc, so a client can link to the token page. Empty for a coin with none, such as Bitcoin or Ethereum's own coin. |
as_of is the newest update time the source gives. A coin without a price or market cap is left out. The list is refreshed every 5 minutes and kept for 2 minutes.
Chain TVL
The total value locked of a chain by day, for Ethereum, Monad and Arc. days is 30, 90 (default), 365 or all.

Protocols
The protocols with the most value locked on a chain, and the total of each category. limit is 1 to 100 (default 25) and applies to items only.

tvl_usd is the protocol's own TVL on this chain, while the changes are those of the protocol on all its chains (chain_protocol_change_all_chains). Exchange custody (category CEX) and the chain's own entry (category Chain) are left out. The rows do not add up to the chain's TVL (chain_protocols_not_additive).
Stablecoins
The USD-pegged stablecoins on a chain. The route takes no query parameters.
curl -s "https://api.sonaintel.com/v1/chains/eip155:143/defi/stablecoins"items holds the 15 largest by circulating_usd. history is the daily total supply over the last 365 days. total_usd is the larger of the last point of history and the sum of every USD-pegged stablecoin on the chain, so a coin's share of it is at most 100%. It can be above the sum of items.
DEX volume
The decentralized exchange volume of a chain in US dollars. days is 30, 90 (default) or 365.

Chain activity
Daily series of on-chain activity. Ethereum (eip155:1) and Arc (eip155:5042) have all six, each from its explorer's stats service. Monad (eip155:143) has txs, gas_price_gwei and utilization_pct, counted by Sona from its blocks (coverage chain_activity_from_blocks), and fills one day at a time. A Monad block's gas used is the sum of its transactions' gas limits, which Monad charges, so its utilization_pct is the share of each block the transactions reserved, not the gas they executed. days is 30, 90 (default) or 365.
